aParently is a platform that connects individuals interested in platonic co-parenting. To maintain a respectful and positive community, all users must adhere to the following Code of Conduct. Violations of this Code may result in account suspension or permanent banning.
1. Respectful Communication
Respect Other Users: All interactions between users should be conducted with respect and consideration. Harassment, bullying, or discriminatory behavior of any kind is strictly prohibited.
No Hate Speech: Any language that promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, or disability will not be tolerated.
Avoid Personal Attacks: Users must engage in civil discussions and avoid personal attacks, insults, or inflammatory remarks.
Constructive Dialogue: Maintain a positive and constructive tone in discussions, particularly when addressing disagreements or differing opinions.
2. Honesty and Integrity
Provide Truthful Information: Users must provide accurate and truthful information when creating profiles or interacting with others. Misrepresentation of personal details, such as identity, intentions, or background, is prohibited.
No Deceptive Behavior: Engaging in manipulative or deceitful behavior, such as pretending to have intentions that are not genuine, is not allowed.
Clear Intentions for Co-Parenting: Users should be upfront about their goals, values, and expectations regarding co-parenting to avoid confusion or misunderstandings.
3. Privacy and Confidentiality
Respect Privacy: Users must respect the privacy of others. Sharing personal information or communications without consent is strictly forbidden.
Confidentiality: Conversations between users should remain private unless explicit permission is granted to share any part of the interaction.
Do Not Solicit or Spam: Users are not allowed to solicit services or send spam messages. The platform should be used for genuine and intended purposes only.
4. Legal and Ethical Behavior
Follow the Law: Users are expected to abide by all applicable local, national, and international laws while using the platform.
No Fraudulent Activity: Users must not engage in any activity that is fraudulent, including attempting to scam others or conducting illegal activities through the platform.
Legal Agreements: aParently does not provide legal advice. Users should seek independent legal counsel for any co-parenting agreements. Users must respect and adhere to any legal agreements made.
Reasons for Banning
aParently reserves the right to ban users who violate this Code of Conduct or engage in any behavior that harms the community. The following are grounds for temporary suspension or permanent banning from the platform:
1. Harassment or Abuse
- Harassment: Any form of harassment, intimidation, or threats toward other users will result in immediate action, including potential banning.
- Abuse: Abusive language, bullying, or targeting another user for harm will not be tolerated and may result in a permanent ban.
2. Discrimination or Hate Speech
- Discrimination: Users who engage in discriminatory behavior based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, or disability will be banned.
- Hate Speech: Any use of hate speech, promoting violence or intolerance, is grounds for immediate banning.
3. Dishonesty or Misrepresentation
- False Profiles: Creating fake profiles or misrepresenting one’s identity, intentions, or co-parenting goals is prohibited and may result in suspension or banning.
- Deception: Users engaging in deceitful or manipulative behavior will be removed from the platform.
4. Privacy Violations
- Breach of Privacy: Sharing another user's personal information, private conversations, or any other confidential material without consent will result in immediate action.
- Spamming or Solicitation: Any user found to be soliciting services or sending spam messages will be banned from the platform.
5. Legal or Fraudulent Activity
- Illegal Activity: Engaging in illegal activities, such as fraud or scams, will result in immediate banning and may be reported to authorities.
- Violation of Terms: Repeated or severe violations of the platform’s Terms of Service may result in permanent removal from the platform.
6. Multiple Violations
- Repeat Offenses: Users who repeatedly violate the Code of Conduct or receive multiple warnings may face suspension or permanent banning, depending on the severity of the violations.
