aParently is a digital matchmaking and support platform designed to help individuals find compatible platonic co-parents, offering matchmaking, resources, and expert guidance to support users throughout the co-parenting journey.
Platonic Co-Parenting (also knowns as elective co-parenting or parenting partnerships) is when two - or more - individuals decide to have a child without being in a romantic relationship. They are both biological parents to the child, and both play an involved active role in the childs' life and upbringing.
Some people describe it as "a child with a friend" - and the key tenant is that the parents form a strong partnership and raise the child together.
aParently is for individuals who wish to become parents through platonic co-parenting arrangements, including heterosexual singles, LGBTQ+ individuals, and others seeking alternatives to traditional family structures.
